After law school and receiving my LL.M. in Taxation (Masters in tax Law), I began my law career with the United States Department of Justice in its Civil Tax Division. After Justice, I practiced in the areas of real estate, real estate finance and taxation until 1999 when I began working in the commercial real estate development industry. My experience with real estate became broader by counseling clients as they purchased ground and developed various types of projects including residential (individual lots, townhomes, multi-family), research facilities and specialty buildings and commercial projects including office, industrial and retail.
